Zipper Pouches

These Zipper pouches are made with each of Starlight Bags' unique textiles. Each bag has a hidden layer of fleece to add durability and help keep their unique shape. The inside of the pouches are lined with a natural cotton fabric. American made YKK zippers finish this functional little pouch. Makeup Bags and Pencil Cases are available in 2 styles: Gussteted and Rectangle


TriFold Wallets

Classic style billfold made with lots of room for cards and cash. These unique wallets are available in Handwoven Guatemalan fabrics, Hand Carved Block Printed fabrics, shibori dyed canvas or one of a kind Bleach Dyed black canvas.

  • Measures 8 x 4 inches (20 x 10 cm) when snapped closed.
  • 6 sleeves for cards, I.D's, coupons, etc. 
  • 1 sleeve for cash
  • Magnetic snap closure.
  • Soft organic duck cloth. 
  • Can be washed, lay flat to dry, warm iron to smooth out wrinkles.

CrossBody Bags

This little purse is the perfect size for a day or evening out on the town when you don't want to take a lot with you. Easily carries your phone, wallet, lip gloss and keys. The black leather strap is easily removed so the bag doubles as a zipper pouch and can be tossed into a larger bag. Available in several colors of heavy duty Duck Canvas as well as hand painted canvas and bleach dyed canvas.

Tote Bags

Tote Bags make the perfect handbag for any occasion. I use my favorite textiles to create beautiful and unique totes. The bottom of the tote is reinforced with heavy duty Duck Canvas. The lining is a raw organic Duck Canvas that helps make the bag very heavy duty. 

  • 13" wide x 15" long
  • Inside pocket 7" x 9"
  • Raw leather straps 26" long and 1/2" wide 
  • Leather straps are light tan but will darken over time with use.
  • Attractive copper rivets
  • Heavy Duck canvas lining and reinforced bottom

Shibori Indigo Dye: Shibori is a resist dyeing process that uses folding, stitching, binding, wrapping and pleating to create one of a kind patterns. Each bit of fabric is slightly different so every bag is unique.  See The Process

Discharge Dye: Regular household bleach is applied to black canvas and then left in the sun to lighten. Each bag has it's own unique pattern due to the random dyeing process. The patterns end up resembling our night sky. See The Process

Block Printed: Hand carved wooden and rubber blocks are used to apply a lightweight paint to canvas fabrics. The design is first sketched out on paper and then meticulously carved into the block to create a one of a kind pattern.  See The Process
